How To Add Outlook Email To iPhone?

Modern people need everything to be organized on their iPhones, including emails, both personal and business. The Outlook for iOS app is a great email client for syncing all your contacts, calendars, events, and more, so you can practically tap and follow your schedule anytime.

How To Configure Outlook On Your iPhone?

The standard Mail app on your iPhone is the easiest and fastest way to receive and send emails from your phone. Fortunately, it’s easy to add most email addresses to your mail app, including Outlook, which is one of the most popular software for business email accounts. Sometimes, the Apple mail to Outlook converter may also be needed. Here’s how to make all the necessary configurations:

  1. Open your iPhone Settings;
  2. Scroll down and tap Passwords & Accounts (it should be about halfway down the page);
  3. Tap Add Account;
  4. This will take you to a screen with many of the most popular email apps listed. Choose from the list;
  5. A new screen will ask you to insert your email address and password;
  6. You will then be asked if you want to allow the app to access your mailbox. Click Yes to activate the mail functionality. This will allow for seamless integration of calendars and contacts with your mail app and will also allow you to exchange emails using your mail app;
  7. You can choose what you want to share, including emails, contacts, calendars, memos, and notes. You can also change these settings later;
  8. Tap Save in the right corner of the box to confirm the settings;

  10. Now go back to the home screen and click on your Mail app. You should see Outlook listed in your mailboxes. Done!

Add Your POP Email Address To Outlook For iPhone

If you don’t have an email address in the Outlook for iOS app yet, you’ll see the “Find Account” screen when you start Outlook. All accounts are selected by default. Uncheck all other accounts except the POP account connected to Here is how to do it:

  • Tap Add Account. Then, enter your password in the next screen and tap Sign in;
  • You will see your connected POP email account in the folder list in the menu with the Inbox under the email address. Tap Inbox to see the email messages for that account.

If you already have one or more email addresses in Outlook for iOS, you won’t see the Accounts Found screen. But you can add your linked POP email account in the settings:

  • Tap the menu button in the top left to open the menu again if it’s not open. Then, click on the Settings (gear) icon at the bottom left;
  • On the Settings screen, under Accounts, tap Add account;
  • Then, tap Add email account, and you can continue adding the connected POP email account from there.
