Scribd Bags $22 Million In Fresh Funding

Scribd, which is a digital library that features e-book subscription services in Kindly Fire, iPhones, iPads and Nook Tablet has bagged $22 million funding recently.

This new funding has taken the total invested amount to $47.8 million coming from the six rounds. The investors who have shown interest in this digital library includes Summit Action Fund, CRV, Redpoint Ventures, SVB Capital, The Kinsey Hills Group and a few others.

The major reason behind the popularity of this e-book platform book e-platform is that it is adding a good number of users each passing day.

Scribd offers a wide range of reading services expanding to more than 5 million titles from 1000 publishers  across various categories including classic, favorites and bestsellers. It offers titles from Rosetta, National Geographic, Harper Colling, Open Road Media, WiIley and many more.
